OMG hiiii!!! Welcome 2 my page!! I'm Pixel, a hardcore retro gaming enthusiast & mechanical keyboard addict from the midwest. I've been building custom PCs since I was like 12 (now I'm way older lol) and I literally cannot get enough of everything mechanical, pixelated, and cyberpunk.

I spend literally HOURS every single day hunting down rare arcade cabinets, testing new keyboard switches, and dreaming about living in a neon-soaked future city like in the games I love. My room is basically a shrine 2 the 80s & 90s aesthetic mixed with cutting-edge gaming hardware. It's absolute paradise tbh.

The Gaming Story: I got my first NES when I was 4 yrs old (I'm pretty sure that's when my obsession started lol). My mom was like "this is just a phase" but JOKE'S ON HER because I've turned it into my entire existence. I've beaten Contra without the Konami code (yes, really), I own like 47 different versions of Tetris, and I have a working arcade cabinet of the original Donkey Kong in my basement. My friends think I'm insane but they're just jealous of my high scores.

The Keyboard Obsession: Ok so this started like 2 years ago when I bought my first mechanical keyboard & I was LITERALLY CHANGED FOREVER. The click-clack sound, the tactile feedback, the customization options... it's like the difference between typing on jello vs typing on the keyboard of the gods. Now I have 12 different keyboards (yes TWELVE) and I'm constantly modding them. I lube my switches, I experiment with different stabilizers, I've even programmed custom firmware. It's become my favorite hobby other than gaming itself.

Cyberpunk Dreams: I am OBSESSED with cyberpunk aesthetics. Neon lights, dystopian cities, advanced technology, hacking, corporate overlords, all of it. I've read every William Gibson novel, played every cyberpunk game that exists, and I literally decorate my room like I'm living in 2077. My dream is 2 eventually live in a major city with neon everywhere & work in tech. Maybe I'll even become a famous hacker lololol jk... unless?

These r the games that have literally changed my life. Not just good games, but LEGENDARY games that have shaped who I am as a person:

Why These Games Matter: Pac-Man is the foundation of everything. It's pure, perfect, timeless. Donkey Kong is where I proved 2 myself that I could master a game. Contra taught me that challenge is beautiful. And the cyberpunk games... they showed me a future I want 2 live in.

I'm currently collecting arcade ROMs & have set up MAME on my gaming rig. I've got like 300+ arcade games & I'm working through them systematically. My goal is 2 beat the top 50 most difficult games b4 I turn 30. Already done with like 8 of them!!!

OKKKK so this is basically where I lose my mind. Mechanical keyboards are not just peripherals, they're ART. They're tools of creation. They're basically the most important thing ever invented after computers themselves. Here's my collection:

★ Build #1: "The Original Clicker" ★
Cherry MX Black switches on an aluminum case. This was my FIRST mechanical keyboard & I literally fell in love immediately. The sound, omg the SOUND. It's like a symphony of clicks. I use this 4 gaming primarily because blacks r so responsive & have that perfect bottom-out feel.

★ Build #2: "The Hacker's Dream" ★
Topre switches on a custom acrylic case with underglow RGB lighting (in green & purple of course). This is my main typing board. Topre switches r like... ok imagine Cherry MX but then you add this pressure-activated thing that makes them feel like you're literally touching the future. The tactility is INSANE.

★ Build #3: "Cyberpunk Neon" ★
This is my PRIDE & JOY. Custom 60% layout with Holy Panda switches (Cherry housings + Invyr stems = perfection). The case is neon pink & cyan custom painted by me. Every time I type on this I feel like I'm hacking into a corporate mainframe. It's literally the most satisfying keyboard I've ever built.

Switch Guide 4 Noobs:

• Cherry MX Black: Linear, heavy, LOUD. Perfect 4 gaming & impressing ur friends
• Cherry MX Blue: Clicky, tactile, the classic. Breaks easily but iconic
• Topre: Pressure-activated, smooth, expensive. U will never go back
• Holy Panda: Tactile with a bump, smooth, basically perfection in switch form

Honestly, if u don't have a mechanical keyboard ur basically living in the past. And I say this with love but also with the intensity of someone who has dedicated their life 2 this pursuit.

Cyberpunk isn't just a genre 4 me, it's a LIFESTYLE. It's the aesthetic, the philosophy, the FUTURE. I literally cannot comprehend why everyone isn't obsessed with this.

• Blade Runner (the original, obvi)
• Johnny Mnemonic (so underrated)
• The Matrix (perfect cyberpunk action)
• Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG (been playing 4 years)
• Any Ghost in the Shell content (Major is life)

Why I Live This: In the cyberpunk world, technology & humanity merge. Corporate overlords control everything but there's always rebels fighting back. The aesthetic is INSANE - neon everywhere, rain-slicked streets, flying cars, advanced prosthetics. AND the music! Synthwave, industrial, dark ambient. I listen 2 this stuff constantly.

My room is basically a cyberpunk apartment. Black walls with neon LED strips, posters of replicants & hackers, my gaming setup looks like something from a sci-fi movie. I've got my future all planned out in a cyberpunk way. Even if it doesn't happen exactly like the media, at least I'm living WITH PURPOSE & STYLE.

[12/18/2002] OMG FINALLY updated the page!!! I've been 2 busy gaming & building a new keyboard 2 even touch the HTML but I promised myself I'd get this done b4 the year ends. Added the new keyboard section & updated my high scores. I beat Galaga yesterday & I'm still on a HIGH.

[11/28/2002] Scored a RARE Cherry MX Black vintage batch on eBay!!! The seller had NO IDEA what they were worth lol. Been lubing them all week & they're literally the smoothest switches I've ever used. My fingers don't want 2 stop typing. Building keyboard #4 is already in my head.

[11/05/2002] Beat Contra without using the Konami code!!! This took me like 6 MONTHS of practicing & my hands r literally sore but I DON'T EVEN CARE. This is legitimately one of my proudest gaming moments ever. Now I have proof 4 all the people who didn't believe me lol.

[10/12/2002] Found an actual working arcade cabinet of Donkey Kong at an antique mall!!! The owner said it'd been sitting there 4 like 2 years. I negotiated 4 HOURS & finally got them 2 sell it 2 me 4 a decent price. Now it's in my basement & it's basically the coolest thing I own. Spent all week getting it running perfectly.
